PEDIATRIC NEURODEVELOPMENT & COMPLEX FEEDING
Specialized therapy for the whole child.
Your child is more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Unity Therapy Solutions offers individualized intensives for children with neurological and complex medical needs, designed around function, participation, and your family's priorities.
Care That Sees The Whole Picture
Movement, regulation, communication, and feeding are connected.
Therapy should be, too.
Two focused pathways. One whole-child perspective.
Whole Child Neurodevelopmental Intensive
This pathway is designed for children whose neurological history affects areas such as:
Postural control and stability
Motor planning and coordination
Sensory-motor organization
Regulation and engagement
Speech, communication, and participation
Functional movement during everyday activities
Treatment may incorporate MNRI® and other individualized therapeutic strategies to support the foundations your child needs for greater participation and function.
Complex Oral Motor & Feeding Intensive
This pathway is designed for children with neurologically based challenges involving:
Chewing and oral-motor coordination
Eating and drinking
Swallowing safety and efficiency
Cup or straw drinking
Texture progression
Feeding endurance
Mealtime participation
Treatment considers more than the mouth alone. Posture, respiratory coordination, sensory processing, regulation, motor planning, and the child’s medical history may all influence feeding performance.
Meet Megan
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist | Feeding Therapist | MNRI® Core Specialist
I’m Megan, founder of Unity Therapy Solutions. For more than 16 years, I’ve worked alongside children and families navigating neurological injuries, complex medical conditions, and significant developmental and feeding challenges.
My approach considers the connections among movement, regulation, communication, oral-motor function, and feeding. I don’t believe in rushing children through checklists or applying the same protocol to every child. I use careful clinical observation, specialized training, and your family’s priorities to create care that is individualized to your child.
Children I Work With
I specialize in working with children whose movement, communication, feeding, and participation are affected by neurological injury or complex medical needs.
This may include children with:
• Acquired or anoxic brain injury
• Cerebral palsy or pediatric stroke
• Genetic or neurological conditions
• Complex oral-motor, feeding, or swallowing challenges
• Multiple interconnected needs that benefit from a more individualized approach
Every child’s needs are different. A discovery call can help determine if either of the intensives offered at Unity Therapy Solutions is an appropriate fit.
How It Works
A clear, individualized path from the first conversation through follow-up at home.
Step 1: Start with a Discovery Call
We’ll talk about your child, your family’s priorities, and what you’re hoping to address. Together, we’ll determine whether UTS may be an appropriate fit.
Step 2: Complete an Assessment
I’ll review your child’s history, observe areas affecting daily function, and identify therapy priorities. The assessment will be tailored to the intensive pathway you’re considering.
Step 3: Plan the Intensive
We’ll review my recommendations and choose the intensive format, schedule, and areas of focus that best fit your child and family.
Step 4: Continue at Home
You’ll receive individualized recommendations and practical guidance to help you carry meaningful elements of the intensive into everyday routines.
START WITH A CONVERSATION
Find the next right step for your child.
You don’t need to know which intensive your child needs before reaching out. Let’s talk about your child, your family’s priorities, and the kind of support you’re looking for.
