Intensives

During reflex work, MNRI combines techniques for patterning or repatterning the reflex . Incorporating components across programs strengthens new patterns. Intensive sessions cover multiple reflexes and build foundations for improvements in areas like speech. Advancements typically occur in multiple areas simultaneously during intensives.

Weekly or Bi-Monthly Appointments

Weekly or bi-monthly appointments can be beneficial in between intensives. These sessions can be for parent review or Home Exercise Plan updates as needed. Weekly or bi-monthly sessions between intensives can be pivotal for maintaining a steady progression throughout the therapeutic process.

Parent Training

It’s very important that caregivers learn how to implement the exercises in the Home Exercise Plan so they can be done in the home regularly. Each family plan of treatment is uniquely created to ensure that everyone involved feels competent and knowledgeable about how, when, and why to implement exercises and strategies in the natural environment.
